Backup Job is getting stuck on a file

Hi ,

I have a serious issue with BackupExec 2010 R3 getting "stuck" on jobs. The job runs and then gets to a point where the status is "running" but nothing is actually in progress. The job gets stuck on the same server in the selection list. I restarted the Backup Exec server but in vain.
Is there any way to skip this file while the job is running ?
