The job failed with the following error: A failure occurred querying the Writer status.

Hi,

We are running SBS 2008 with the latest service pack, and Backup Exec 2012 v 14.

We also run Exchange 2007.

We run backups Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday nights. Every Tuesday we receive the below error -

"The job failed with the following error: A failure occurred querying the Writer status"

The server gets restarted every Sunday at 20:45.

All the remainder week backups are fine and do not suffer any issues.

We have already tried re-registering the DLL's as i have previously looked over similar articles related to this, and of course restarted the server as well. However, neither of these solutions have worked for us.

Does anyone else have another solution which they think would work?
