Hi.
I have been digging inside of your documentation and also forums but not luck finding the right answer to my problem.
We use backup exec 2012 on Windows Server 2008 SP1 but when I try to make a backup everything seems to be fine except because the System Disaster Recovery (SDR) file is not created.
As you can see in the image, the Simplified Disaster Recovery is ON and I guess this is enough to create the SDR file but is not actually creating nothing.
The log file that I’m attaching is the file log that I got from Backup Exec, I have just changed the server name for security purpose. The rest of the file is basically the same.
What I am trying to do is restore the entire server into another machine before applying several new features and configurations to my production server. If the server fails after this changes, I need to be able to restore it to a secure point in the past and in the mind time, provide services from a restored server temporally while I restore the real server.
Thanks.
