I am an unfortunate fellow who has had the task of running our backup system tossed at him with no training, experience, or mentors on staff from which to learn. The system has been horribly mismanaged and misconfigured by a long list of others before me, and now I'm in the hot seat. So, it's a learning opportunity, right?
I'm basically a desktop support guy, so I figure this forum might be something worthwhile to try.
Issue: I'd like to be notified only when a job fails, not when it is successful.
I see in the notification options the only option is "Select each recipient to notify when the job completes".
Would I simply uncheck that box to be notified only when a job fails?
