backup exec 2014 and SSR

Just to confirm,

my customer have Hyper v on WS 2012R2,

he want to backup this host also and not only the VM's on that host.

he also say that he can not use SDR on it,

any inofrmation when will it be supported?

also on SSR 2013- can he backup the host itself?
