Backup Exec 2014 does not verify hyper-v backups in duplicate jobs

When backing up my Windows 2008 R2 hyper-v servers with a full backup to disk storage, I have a duplicate to disk cartridge device job that follows. Both jobs run successfully with no errors. However, the duplicate job does not perform a verify operation on the hyper-v resources. It only verifies the duplicate of the system state resource of the host. The full backup job does succussfully run a verify operation on all resources backed up and reports that in the job log. But in the job log for the duplicate job, the verify section for the hyper-v resources is empty. Only the host system state verify operation is shown in the verify section. I would like to know why Backup Exec is not performing a verify of the backed up hyper-v resouces during duplicate jobs.
