Backup Exec 2012 - 0xe000fedf - A Failure Occured Reading an Object

Hi, 

I have an issue with Backup Exec 2012 the backup is failing with this error:

I have seen an article on the Symantec website which states this error is solved by giving the account that backup exec runs under full access to the C: drive. Backup Exec runs on the domain administrator account so this is not an issue.
