hi i have this problem when backing up two of my servers , both of servers are Windows server 2008 R2 with SQL Server
Issue: Backup to deduplication disk fail with :
Job ended: Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at 9:10:28 PM
Completed status: Failed
Final error: 0xe00084ec - A backup storage read/write error has occurred.

Im runing Backup Exec 2014 HotFix 2 installed on Windows Server 2012 standard (VM ESXi 5.1)
ISCSI Disk From HP NAS Connected to ESXi then Connected to BE 2014 as Deduplication Disk
- deleting Deduplication Disk And Recreating it is not solving problem ,
- No NTFS or Disk Related error event on Client OS , Backup Exec Server or NAS Storage
