Upgrade 2012 - 2014

Hi,

I got a licensing question. Out company buys backup exec renewals yearly, currently we run be2012. I'd like to do an inplace upgrade and wanted to download the iso file from fileconnect. It asks me to enter our products serial, but afterwards I only get presented BE2012 for a download.

My question - I always thought that buying renewals gives me the right to upgrade to a new version. Am I wrong here? We got renewal basic.
