Do anyone explain the difference between Deduplication reclamation and OST media reclamation?
Deduplication reclmation is same as OST media reclamation?
What is the schedule of OST media reclamation? Does OST reclamation occur when the backup job start?
What is the schedule of deduplication reclamation? 12:20 AM and 12:20 PM ? It seem to not able to change the schedule in Backup Exec 2012?
If yes , the backup performace may be greatly affected by deduplicaton reclamation at 12:20 AM. Most of backup jobs was scheduled to run at this time.
How long do deduplication reclamation process? Are there any commands to check the status of deduplication?
I encountered the backup jobs in Backup Exec 2012 is often in the queued state for a long time. One Symantec KB was similar to my case.
